InVigor hybrids were developed to help farmers maximize yield while reducing risks from disease, weather stress, lodging, and pod shatter. BASF markets InVigor as a high-performance canola system rather than simply a seed variety.
InVigor can be seeded early in the season and is known for its ability to withstand weather-related stress. The brand's long-standing mascot has been a realistic rooster, symbolizing the importance of getting into the field early and on time.
To bring this iconic character to life, we created Earl-E, a playful and memorable mascot with personality. Earl-E serves as the embodiment of the InVigor brand, creating engaging interactions with farmers while reinforcing key product benefits in a fun and unexpected way.
The character can be featured at agricultural events such as Ag in Motion, drawing attention to the brand through live appearances and farmer interactions. Earl-E also lends himself naturally to a series of short-form social media videos, where his humorous antics and persistent reminders help keep farmers "on time" for seeding.
By transforming the traditional rooster into a living brand character, InVigor gains a distinctive and entertaining platform that stands out in the marketplace while reinforcing the brand's message of early vigor, resilience, and timely seeding.
